Welcome

Hello There! My name is TimmyX and I am the founder of this site. I am 31 years old and have Duchenne muscular dystrophy. My illness affects all muscles in my body, it started with minor problems climbing stairs at the age of 5. As my disease advanced progressively I grew up wi th it, I didn’t know it any other way, being more and more dependant of others. With time I became a avid gamer enjoying many great games of our time starting from SNES, Gameboy & Nintendo 64 Games to PC Shooters and strategy games. The only adaption I needed was a gel pad for my wrist.  Due to a long stay in a ICU in a hospital 2013 I lost a lot of flexibility and strength in my arms and hands which were weak already. It was a hard time getting accustomed to the new situation.

I didn’t want to give up gaming. So I adapted. I tested games. Until I found the right game or the right hardware or the right workaround. And I thought I should share my experiences with the world. To show that even with severe disabilities gaming is possible.
